In this present day in age, people often wonder how our great country came about. They ask themselves whom or what influenced this nation. What happened during the harsh years of those trials and tribulations? The American nation has gone through some pretty big changes. In recent research, one of the leading influences of the great 1960's was the music. Thus we are here to discuss how the so-called "Rock and Roll" influenced the 1960's.
First of all, how did all this rock ever come about? Who started it? Who followed it, who adored it? All these questions can and will be answered. At the start of "Rock and Roll" there was only one man, "The King" Elvis. He put together rhythm and blues, country and birthed what is now called "Rock and Roll."
Parents did not like nor believed in it at all. Some adults called it the devils music. Yet the youth of America loved and stood up for it. Th old nagging parents got rid of the music, but bot for long. In the 1960's rock and roll made a huge revival.
"Repots of its demise were highly exaggerated,� said Gale Research. All that hated it, also hated the famous radio station WINS. WINS, was the first radio station to broadcast rock and roll. They were only in it for the music. By the time WINS was part of the revival, the famous, unforgettable 1960's were there.
For the next two decades, the United States did mot know what it was about to go though. It was going to go through drugs, war, and heartache. What helped this time of suffering, the rock. The youth looked to the music. It was not just in America, rock had gone worldwide. People had turned to the music because it made them feel good. Plus it helped getting high a lot easier.
With the heavy use with drugs, rockers started to change their music. Hardrock was musicians getting high on stage. This music was always trying to speak out against the major issues of the 60's: war, youth, drugs, and freelove.
Rockers such as "The Mamas and Papas," "Neil Young," and "Peter, Paul, and Mary" were big anti-war buffs. The Vietnam War took a great toll on...
