Invisibility
Invisibility
Invisibility is the state at which someone is physically, mentally and emotionally alive but cannot be seen with the human eye. In this state the person functions as a normal human being and is in fact a human being, the only difference is that the person cannot be seen physically like you and me. This phenomenon can be best compared to a ghost. A ghost is there but can only be seen faintly or not at all. If I were given the chance to become invisible by simply taking all of my clothes I would definitely take advantage of the opportunity.
Given the gift of invisibility, I started my trip around the world visiting various countries. I started this thrilling experience by first sneaking my way into airplanes and traveled to places such as Antarctica, Africa, England, Russia, the Caribbean and many more places. By being open to different cultures I truly enjoyed learning about other traditions and their distinctiveness. Of all the places I visited I fall in love with Grenada. Grenada is a tropical island that is located in the Caribbean sea habited by approximately half of a million people. After arriving I followed a family back to their home upon a mountain located near a waterfall. They had two children, a boy and a girl, who was similar to me in age. I lived among them and observed their way of life. They take their showers in the waterfall, cooked fresh vegetables and also chicken grown in the back yard. Their idea of family seem so perfect but after living their a few days I grew lonely and debated on whether I should reveal myself to them.
In spite of how lonely I felt I decided not to reveal myself but to move on yet to another country to discover. From the ice cold glaciers to the tropical seas they’ll all be seen. An experience that many can only dream off.
